Stone Tower Winery Wedding in Leesburg Virginia

Gene and Samantha hired JJDJ Entertainment to take care of their wedding’s entertainment, lighting, and sound for this mid-August wedding at Stone Tower Winery. This winery escape is tucked away off a gravel road in beautiful Leesburg Virginia. Once you pull into the Stone Tower Winery parking lot you completely understand why Gene and Samantha would chose this property to celebrate the next chapter of their lives! The ceremony was in the actual vineyards, guest were shuttled from the main venue to the ceremony location that sat at the top of a hill that overlooked what seemed like never ending rows of vineyards. JJDJ Entertainment provided a SUPER quiet generator to power the ceremony. During the ceremony all the guests were sitting on homemade wooden benches as the couple stood at the peak of the hill next to two wine barrels to say their vows. We used a lapel microphone on the officiant so the ceremony could be heard by all the guest. Once the officiant introduced Gene and Samantha as husband and wife for the first time, the classic hit Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” was played and instantly all the guests starting singing along while the newlyweds walked down the aisle together. This brought back some awesome memories for JJDJ Entertainment of a past wedding that started out as a sing-a-long similar to this and turned into one of the best weddings ever. JJDJ Entertainment knew this wedding was going to be an awesome time. Guest were then moved back to the main reception building which had some beautiful wooden corn hole boards, a tremendous array of patio furniture inside and out. This was a vacation in itself! The building was positioned perfectly so while the sun was setting the wedding party was making their grand entrance they were coming through the doorway with the rays of the sunset as the background. The level of detail planned by Stone Tower Winery truly makes this location a dream reception hall. JJDJ Entertainment added uplighting throughout the venue creating a stunning oasis of color. One of the guest shared a photo with us from outside the venue and the glow coming out of the ballroom looked incredible! Gene and Samantha didn’t give us a huge list of must play songs, just three criteria’s; Dance Songs, 90’s Hip-Hop and Throwbacks. Those three criteria’s are perfect for DJ John Caniford’s because those are some of his personal favorites! From the moment the dance floor opened until the last dance of the evening this party was non-stop and everything you could have dreamed of for a wedding. There was never an official “Last Dance” song selected, it was left up to the DJ to decide. DJ John Caniford wanted everyone to walk away from this memorable wedding with an “I just had the time of my life feeling.” John Caniford tossed around the ideas of using a go to favorite of Whitney Houston – “I will always love you” or possibly something more up-tempo. While having Whitney Houston cued up to end the event he quickly changed it to Boyz II Men – “End of the Road.” This was an awesome song to end the night with, the entire room was singing along all the way to the last verse.
It was an amazing evening at Stone Tower Winery in the heart of Leesburg, Virginia. JJDJ Entertainment was honored to be a part of this spectacular wedding and wishes Gene and Samantha a lifetime of happiness as Mr. & Mrs Fontaine!
