2500 Students from across the US all together…

WOW, WOW, WOW! We had the honor of being able to DJ the after-party/dance of a National Debate Competition. The first thing Little John said he thought of was “Uh-Oh, I’m going to get talked into playing everything, these students are pro’s!”
The venue was absolutely beautiful, it was held is the luxurious Marriott hotel located in the nations capital, Washington DC.
(Hold on, we are going to be nerdy for a second)
When we meet with the venue to go over details for the room and such, and they tell us their are 120amp drops throughout the room, it was like music to our ears! Some venues can be challenging with these large sound systems and bigger light shows, having enough power is critical. It would be like putting 87 gasoline in a top fuel dragster, yes it will run, but not to its potential. Same thing with sound systems, when we have enough juice to feed out speakers, we can shake your room!
So back to the event, so 2500 students, thats HUGE! This is a national debate where students travel from all across The United States to participate in. The students had been debating all day, and this was the party they host for the students before the results are posted.
As the 2500 students poured in, DJ Little John took the stage, flipped the mic on and said “Washington DC, How are ya feeling tonight?” and the place just erupted in cheers and screams! As soon as the first song was spinning they all were instantly on the floor dancing!
Floor stayed packed until the last song, the sound system sounds amazing and was THUMPING all night! Can’t wait to work with this group again!
