Northern Virginias Biggest School Dance DJ’s Prepare for 2012 Prom Tour

By In School Events On April 16, 2012

With just days away, JJDJ Entertainment’s school dance division “Virginia School Dances” prepares to kick off its 2012 Prom Tour in Leesburg Virginia! A new school for the tour, Briar Woods High School, will set the bar Friday night at the National Conference Center! “The first school on the tour always sets the bar high” says John Caniford, President of JJDJ Entertainment. “We have been featured in multiple new articles this past year hyping up the 2012 Prom Tour, so all eyes are on us.”  Earlier this year John Caniford sat down with Inside Nova’s (Manassas Journal Messenger) Bennie Scarton talking about his thoughts on school dances.

“I remember going back to when I was in high school — we never showed up on time for our school dances, and we always left early. There wasn’t anything special or unique about them. It was just another DJ playing one song right after the next.” Caniford told Inside Nova. For the first time this year John gets to have his team bring their prom tour back to his high school, Forest Park High School. “It means a lot to me to take it all back to where it started. This has been a goal of mine since we started our school division.”

For students who haven’t been apart of one of JJDJ Entertainments school dances, its hard to put into words how over the top their crew takes it! “When students are paying $50-$60 a ticket and in some schools $80+ per ticket, they expect the best! Our team delivers every time! Whether it’s the big sound system or the club lighting. I want every student to leave their prom feeling like they just walked out of a concert.”

With over 10 schools on the 2012 Prom Tour this year, be sure to check back for footage and gig logs from each prom!

“When you’re rockin’ w/ us you’re rockin’ with the best!”
