Who is JJDJ Entertainment???

JJDJ Entertainment was founded in 1998, with John Caniford’s passion for music. At the age of 12, John and his friend started playing music for neighborhood parties. In the early 2000’s John’s father, Terry Caniford, opened up a Bar & Grill by day and Nightclub by night. Inspired more by the music and energy of being a DJ he started DJing every Sunday at the weekly outdoor BBQ at his father’s bar & grill. Spending his summer months at their restaurant, one Friday night the regular DJ was a no show, so John and his love for music begged his father to let him DJ Friday night. After arguing with his father for an hour, he finally found himself in the DJ booth on the 1′s and 2′s and hasn’t hung up his headphones since.

Since then JJDJ Entertainment has grown tremendously and have gone from a part time entertainment company to a full time production company. We strive on making that personal connection with each of our clients. We have been called “trendsetters” with our school dances and MMA productions to being told that we “made it a point to get to know our personalities and what our goals were for our reception.” Our goals have remained the same throughout the years, to listen to our clients, understand their needs while creating an everlasting memory with them. We take pride in all our events that we stamp the JJDJ name on, and often hear from clients that their friends still talk about that night we were apart of.
